Pastor’s wife runs for divorce; demands 50% of assets

Pastor’s wife is suing for divorce due to sex deprivation, and she wants half of his assets.

Because her husband has denied her intimacy and stopped speaking with her, a pastor’s wife has gone to court to seek divorce.

Barbra Sasha Rukundo, the wife of Isaac Kiwewesi, a senior pastor at Kansanga Miracle Centre in Uganda, claims she has been subjected to mental torment as a result of his lack of sex and communication.

The mother of three has petitioned the country’s High Court in Makindye’s Family Division for the dissolution of their 15-year marriage.

She wants half of his multimillion-dollar assets, including seven cars, seven plots of land, shares in various firms, bank account funds, and a matrimonial home in Kansanga.

Barbra claims she is entitled to half of Kiwewesi’s wealth, as well as a monthly child maintenance amount of KSh 340,800.

According to reports, she also wants shared custody of their three children, ages 12, 11, and seven, whom she has since moved to the United States with.

Meanwhile, pastor Kiwewesi has dismissed his wife’s claims, accusing her of preferring to party with slay queens when she moved to the United States, as alleged in the lawsuit.

According to him, footage of Barbra acting inappropriately for a pastor’s wife went public online, causing him a great deal of embarrassment.

The pastor revealed that his wife had travelled to the United States to assist him in obtaining citizenship for their eldest daughter, Joanna Kyobe.

However, after arriving in California, Sasha departed the state without his knowledge or agreement and migrated to Texas, where she has remained to date, according to Newvision.co.ug.

He went on to say that while she was in Texas, she flew to Uganda on multiple occasions for vacations, but that she hasn’t visited their marital home since 2018.

“Whenever the cross-respondent (Sasha) is present, she stays with friends or in various hotels, the most recent of which is Serena, despite repeated attempts to locate her.”
